New-fashioned and cheap units with comfortable beds, nice linen, for example, and the staff were helpful.

Well-equipped and nicely decorated place. Excellent staff, free wake up service and ironing available. Great-sized and huge unit with comfortable beds, nice linen, as for instance. Breakfast at 8.45am.
Miserable staff!

Huge and immaculately clean units with nice linen as well as comfortable beds, and the staff were affable. The location was central, so close to an extensive garden, Rathan House, and an excellent Indian restaurant and a decent pub.

The location was EXCELLENT to Dalkeith Town center and the staff here was excellent. Really enjoyed that it was set close enough to an excellent Indian restaurant and a decent pub, the Scottish coast to coast cycle route and a wonderful garden.

Great and pleasant setting, next to buses and local eateries: )
No menu at all.

Nothing to complain about, the venue met the purpose, totally recommend it. The stay here was very comfortable for two nights. Location: the hotel was not far from the Scottish coast to coast cycle route passes through, local pubs and various restaurants and other areas. It also was in area before good parking.

The breakfast options were fantastic with a great choice available. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, a grocery store, and public transportation. One of the advantages that I enjoyed was the friendly and knowledgeable host who shared interesting stories about the local area.
I had a negative experience with the owner of the hotel. They were rude and unhelpful, making check-in and check-out a stressful experience.

The units are modern, cheap. All the staff members are affable and very very helpful. Our hotel is set in a central location really close to Edinburgh City center as well as the large back garden. Also, St Marys Episcopal Church is a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.

The hotel had an absolutely perfect location only a short distance to Newbattle Golf Club Ltd. The breakfast was generous at 8.45am! Everything was perfect, yet a few employees were miserable.
